The rapper was taken by police on Monday (January 30) in Jamaica after the alleged victim filed a report with the local authorities.
The star - real name O'Neil Bryan - has been accused by a 31-year-old woman of rape and sexual assault at his St. Andrew home, according to the Jamaica Observer.
Bryan has since posted bail of $400,000 when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon (February 1).
He is said to have maintained an "upbeat mood" throughout the proceedings as he chatted with his attorney Linda Wright and will reappear in court for a preliminary hearing on May 21.
