Madonna has dedicated her upcoming Super Bowl performance to her father.
The singer said that she will be thinking of Silvio Ciccone when she takes to the stage at Sunday's (February 5) halftime ceremony.

"I'm a hard-working girl that never stops [and] that's because of him," she said at a press conference in Indianapolis yesterday (February 2). "I'm sure of all the things I've ever done in my life this will be the thing he's most excited about."
Madonna also promised that fans can expect a "spectacular show" from her.
"[I don't want to] give anything away [because I want viewers to be] knocked out of their seats from beginning to end," she said. "I'm so excited to be here. This is a Midwesterner girl's dream to be performing at the halftime show."
The 53-year-old admitted during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she feels "pressure" to "put on the greatest show on Earth" at the Super Bowl.
She has confirmed that she will perform three of her classic tracks and new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
The latter is the lead single from her 12th studio album MDNA and will debut later today (February 3).
