New Order have added additional dates in London and Manchester to their upcoming UK tour.

As previously announced, the current lineup of the band - which does not include original bassist Peter Hook - will play a series of dates in April and May.

The newly-updated tour details are as follows:
  • April 26 - Manchester, O2 Apollo
  • April 27 - Manchester, O2 Apollo - NEW DATE
  • April 29 - Birmingham, Ballroom
  • May 2 - London, O2 Brixton Academy
  • May 3 - London, O2 Brixton Academy - NEW DATE
  • May 5 - Glasgow, O2 Academy
The current New Order lineup includes founding members Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert, together with Bad Lieutenant musicians Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman.

After describing New Order without himself as "Sooty without Sweep", Hook initially pledged to "f**k over" his ex-bandmates, before taking back the comments and admitting that it would be "better to bury the hatchet".

The group have already played a London gig following their pair of charity shows in Europe.

New Order have been confirmed for the 2012 Benicassim festival.
