Drake has responded to a lawsuit filed by a reported ex-girlfriend seeking credit for his song 'Marvin's Room'.
Ericka Lee filed the court documents on Thursday (February 2), alleging that she was promised half the profits from the track after recording the song's hook and opening monologue.
Lee, who is also said to have been romantically involved with the rapper between 2010 and 2011, claims that she was offered just two percent of the royalties after they split, which Drake raised to four to five percent plus a $50,000 payout when she hired a lawyer.

She is demanding a judge declare her the co-writer of the song and wants damages and disgorgement of profits. Lee also claims to have text messages from Drake saying she "basically made that song".
However, a representative for Drake told The Hollywood Reporter: "This claim is entirely without merit and our client has not engaged in any wrongful conduct. Ericka Lee consented to the use of her voice in the song 'Marvin's Room' prior to its release.
"Lee asked only for the credit she received as Syren Lyric Muse, and she did not ask for any compensation. It was only after she retained a lawyer that there was a demand for payment. Drake tried for months to resolve the matter amicably, and he now looks forward to being vindicated in court."
Drake was recently announced as the Saturday headliner at this year's Wireless Festival. Rihanna will headline on the Sunday.
