The bands will play the shows as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music 2012's string of concerts, which will raise money for the organisation.

The Wanted will perform at Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury in Gloucestershire on July 20. Band member Nathan Sykes, who is from the area, said: "It's so cool for me to do a home show in such a great place."

Meanwhile, Razorlight will play Thetford Forest in Suffolk on June 14. Frontman Johnny Borrell said: "We are very pleased to be doing a gig in Thetford Forest. We like the ethos behind these shows and it will be great to perform our hits alongside new material."

Further acts for each of the dates will be announced in due course.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale from 9am on February 10.
