Interpol's Paul Banks to release new solo album

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to 2009's Julian Plenti is… Skyscraper, according to Pitchfork.
The LP is likely to be released under his alias Julian Plenti, and will be brought out on the Matador record label some time later this year.
Interpol released their self-titled fourth album in 2010, which reached number 10 in the UK album chart.
