Neil Patrick Harris on Madonna Super Bowl performance: 'She's amazing'

Neil Patrick Harris has revealed that he attended Super Bowl XLVI purely to see Madonna.
The 'Gimme All Your Luvin'' singer was joined by Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green, MIA and LMFAO during her halftime show at Sunday's championship football game between the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
How I Met Your Mother actor Harris spoke to The Huffington Post prior to the event and expressed high hopes for Madonna's performance.
"I know nothing about football. She is amazing. I just hope she doesn't play it safe. When you play to a billion people, you are under a lot of pressure to tone it down," he told the publication.
He later wrote on Twitter: "I really dug the halftime show. Not sure how it looked on TV, but all the production and projections combined with Madonna rocking? Loved [it]."
Super Bowl broadcaster NBC was forced to apologise for MIA's middle finger gesture during the halftime show, after an outcry from thousands of offended viewers.
Kelly Clarkson, who sang 'The Star Spangled Banner' at the Super Bowl, recently described performing at the event as "a huge honour".
