Pulp will receive the 'Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music' accolade at this year's NME Awards.
The band will pick up the prize during the ceremony at the O2 Brixton Academy in London on February 29, as well as playing a live set at the show.

It will be Pulp's first UK live performance of 2012 and follows a string of festival shows last year after they reunited.
Despite saying the group may not do any further shows during their last set in 2011, Pulp have since confirmed plans to play US music festival Coachella, along with a handful of other European gigs.
It was previously suggested that the band would release reissues of their first three studio albums this month after they were expected to be available last August.
