Nicki Minaj to release new single 'Starships' next Monday

Nicki Minaj has announced a new single, along with her plans for her performance slot at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
The 'Marilyn Monroe' rapper will perform 'Roman Holiday' from her forthcoming LP Pink Friday: Roman's Revenge during Sunday's ceremony, she announced on her official website on Tuesday (February 7).
Minaj is nominated for Grammys in the Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album categories.
The 'Stupid Hoe' star will also release her new single, entitled 'Starships', the following Monday (February 13) on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show. The track will be available on iTunes the same day.
Minaj will also perform at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando, Florida on February 26, although it has not yet been confirmed if she is the halftime act.
She recently pushed back the release of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded until April 3 in order to spend time working on new material.
