Linkin Park unhappy with record deal

Linkin Park want out of their deal with Warner Music, after they fail to agree on how to promote their next album.
The six-piece band has claimed that the label has "diminished resources" and consequently they will be unable to compete globally with other major companies.
Linkin Park's management company released the following statement: "Linkin Park has become increasingly concerned that WMG's diminished resources will leave it unable to compete in today's global music marketplace, resulting in a failure to live up to WMG's fiduciary responsibility to market and promote Linkin Park."
Meanwhile, the band have delayed the release of the album in question, with vocalist
Mike Shinoda commenting: "We're doing really well, but we just need a little more time."
Warner Music are having none of it, however. They told the New York Times: "While Linkin Park's talent is without question, the band's management is using fictitious numbers and making baseless charges and inflammatory threats in what is clearly a negotiating tactic."
