The singer took on Madonna's 'Crazy for You' while performing at the Riverdome in Bossier City, Louisiana on February 4.
Clarkson decided to cover the song after receiving a request from two of her fans and later admitted that performing the track made her think of a past love.
Speaking to the crowd, the star announced: "This next one I'm going to do, I picked a cover, so I thought y'all should get to pick a cover.
"We've been doing this on tour, cause I got here from fans voting for me ten years ago so it's still cool that you all are involved in my show. This song was actually picked by a fan, two of them to be exact."
After finishing the song, she added: "You know how when you hear a song and it brings you to a moment? I was totally at the skating rink thinking of Michael Webb, whatever! I hated junior high and high school. I was that kid that never fit in."
Songs previously covered by Clarkson on her US tour at the request of her fans include Coldplay's 'Fix You' and Cee Lo Green's 'Forget You'.
Clarkson's North American tour in support of her recent album Stronger will conclude in Pullman on April 14.
