The Vaccines have won this year's Xfm New Music Award.
The band were awarded the prize for their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? in a ceremony at Manchester's HMV Ritz yesterday (February 8).

The album beat off debut efforts from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Beady Eye, Ed Sheeran, Miles Kane, Chapel Club, Ben Howard, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, James Blake and Scroobius Pip.
The Vaccines were handed the gong after a panel including Muse drummer Dominic Howard, Noah & The Whale singer Charlie Fink, Editors frontman Tom Smith and former New Order bassist Peter Hook.
The group recently revealed that they will be recording their second studio album in March, with frontman Justin Young adding: "It'll definitely be out this year."
