Adele has sung her hit 'Rolling In The Deep' for the first time since her throat surgery in a newly-released clip from her upcoming 60 Minutes interview.
The popstar makes her return to the stage at Sunday's Grammys, but she gave 60 Minutes host Anderson Cooper a preview in an interview to air on CBS before the annual music awards.
Cooper told 60 Minutes Overtime that Adele chose to sing her global chart-topper 'Rolling In The Deep' a cappella because "she had really long nails on and she couldn't play the piano with her nails".
The journalist added of Adele's power as a singer: "I don't think anybody whose vaguely conscious has not heard Adele's songs. I actually jog to 'Rolling In The Deep' every day."
Adele has refrained from singing live since undergoing an operation to remove a benign polyp on her vocal chord in Boston in November.
In a previously-released clip from her 60 Minutes interview, Adele told Cooper that the pain of the hemorrhaging polyp felt like "someone put a curtain over [her] throat".

Cooper's full interview with Adele airs on 60 Minutes on Sunday (February 12) at 7pm EST/PST.
Adele and Foo Fighters lead this year's Grammy nominees with six nods in categories including 'Album of the Year'.
Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl has said he is honoured to be competing with Adele and praised the British singer as an "an incredibly talented artist" who made an "incredible record" in 21.
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards air live on February 12 from 8pm (ET/PT) on CBS.
