The 'Super Bass' singer, who arrived in red robes with a man dressed as a bishop, kicked off her Grammys appearance with a performance she labelled 'The Exorcism of Roman'.
Minaj started the performance in a confessional, singing extracts from 'Roman's Revenge' and 'I Feel Pretty' from West Side Story to a priest.
The performance then transitioned into a pre-recorded video, in which the musician - as her alter ego Roman Zolanski - was visited by another priest who came to perform an exorcism.

The video then switched back to the live performance, which featured Minaj chained to a slab. She eventually descended to sing, before the priest made an appearance on stage.
Minaj - who lost out in the Grammys' 'Best New Artist' category to Bon Iver - was then levitated to the sky as the lights dimmed around her.
The rapper's new album, titled Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, will be released on April 3.
Minaj delayed the release of her sophomore album in January, citing a desire to spend more time on new material.
