Sheeran has described playing the annual charity concert as "an absolute honour" and praised War Child for organising "amazing music events" that help raise money for the vulnerable.

Over the past three years, the shows have raised over £500,000 for the War Child charity, which aims to protect and help children in war zones across the globe.

The gig will take place at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire with tickets on sale to the general public now.

Sandé is the recipient of this year's Brits Critics' Choice Award and is also up for 'British Breakthrough Act'. The star's debut album Our Version Of Events is available to buy now.
