Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle have all launched albums on their own, but Walsh said she will not be following the lead of her fellow band members.
Walsh told Metro: "It's nice some of the girls have explored their passions through their solo albums but it's not something I'm looking to do.
"I'm happy following my own ventures. I love performing, I love acting and presenting. I want to do other things.
"What I've achieved musically with the girls is amazing and I'm happy with that. I applied for Popstars because I wanted to be in a group."
When asked whether there are plans for a Girls Aloud reunion, Walsh implied that there had been discussions, saying: "That would be telling. I've read a lot of speculation, which hasn't been accurate. We'll tell everyone in good time."
