Joe Jonas told MTV News: "In the next few weeks, we're going to be going to New York and we're gonna start writing for another project. It's going to be, I think, our best record yet. I'm so excited."

Speaking on what they will write about, Kevin Jonas explained: "We've lived a lot of life... Joe and Nick have just released amazing projects and I'm so proud of them for that.

"They've had things in their hearts they wanted to put out there [and] now it's going to be great. We're all doing different things, living different parts of life and getting to experience it all together again. It's going to be lots of fun."

Asked when fans can expect new music, Joe teased: "We want to be able to do things this year. We have plans that nobody really knows about yet, performances that are already lined up and we have music already recorded too."

He added: "Our [aim] is probably close to the end of the year or next year."
