Adele matches Whitney Houston US Billboard 200 chart run

Adele has spent a 20th week at number one in the US with her second album 21.
The singer's multi-million-selling collection shifted a further 237,000 copies over the past week in the US, posting a 95% gain on sales from the previous week.

Tallying up a 20th week at number one means that Adele's 21 matches Whitney Houston's 20-week run with The Bodyguard soundtrack back in 1992-93, reports Billboard.
However, it is likely that 21 will break that record next week as the full impact of sales for Adele's 21 will be counted, following her success at the 54th Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12).
The star's debut album 19 has also climbed the Billboard 200 and currently sits at number nine with sales of 36,000.
Meanwhile, Houston's Greatest Hits rose to number six on the chart following her tragic death on February 11.
