DJ Fresh wants return of Brit Awards dance category

DJ Fresh has called for the return of the dance category at the Brit Awards.
The producer - real name Dan Stein - has insisted that the British music awards ceremony should reflect what is happening in the current scene, especially as the genre has become increasingly popular over the past few years.

"Britain makes the best dance music in the world," said DJ Fresh. "Artists like Example, Chase & Status, Nero and others are conquering the charts in the UK and around the world.
"Electronic music dominated the Grammys this year with artists like Skrillex and Deadmau5 and it's time the Brits reflected what's happening here by bringing back a dance music category."
DJ Fresh is currently on course to top the UK singles chart on Sunday with his new cut 'Hot Right Now', which features Rita Ora.
