Meatloaf admits to vocal training
Published Wednesday, Sep 6 2006, 00:37 BST | By David Cribb
Meatloaf has admitted he hired a vocal coach to help him on his latest album.
The singer recruited the teacher after the record's producer, Desmond Child, decided he wanted a different tone. Child requested Meatloaf (real name Michael Aday) lose some of his vibrato for the third instalment in the Bat Out Of Hell series.
Child took on his role in the new album after Jim Steinman, Meatloaf's long time musical partner, fell ill.
