Ed Sheeran: 'Brit Awards 2012 was the best night of my life'

Ed Sheeran has described his Brit Award wins as one of the "best nights" of his life.

The singer-songwriter walked away with 'British Male Artist' and 'British Breakthrough' at last night's (February 21) ceremony at London's O2 Arena.

Talking about his wins, Sheeran told Capital FM: "My night was probably one of the best nights of my life. I had my family and friends here and it was just amazing. I feel really elated and thank you to anyone who has supported so far."

The star also performed a rendition of his single 'Lego House' at the event, standing centre stage with his guitar and a mic.

Sheeran recently released free EP The Slumdon Bridge as a download for his fans.
