Fall Out Boy work on new record

Fall Out Boy have started work on their follow-up to hit album From Under the Cork Tree.
The rockers have once again teamed up with producer Neal Avron for their second major label release, and Babyface will also take on some producing duties.
Speaking of the direction of the new record, singer Patrick Stump told MTV: "I feel like it's going to be an organic growth, like things we did [on the last LP], we just wanted to expand on...We're probably halfway through and it's awesome. When we were writing this record, I felt like there's no point in trying to pretend like we're a band we're not. We're just gonna go in and make our record the way we're gonna make it
Bassist Pete Wentz observed: "There's really nothing worse than when bands make 'interesting' second records. Nobody likes that."
There is also talk of some other big names collaborating on some of the new songs.
Wentz revealed: "I want to bring in people who no one would expect. Everyone knows who our good friends are now and we put them on our last record: the Academy Is ... and Panic! at the Disco. This year it's like, we made some new friends, like Lil Wayne. Or let's get our boss [Def Jam president Jay Z] on there."
