Dappy wants Rihanna, Adele for next single 'Dare To Dream'

By
Dappy has revealed that he plans to collaborate with Rihanna in the near future.

The N-Dubz rapper insisted that if his current single 'Rockstar' tops the UK chart, there's a good chance the Talk That Talk star will feature on his next cut.

Dappy told the Daily Star: "The record is called 'Dare To Dream' and is motivational music for people who believe they can't do nothing, a battle we have with our own mind.

"We've been in contact with her people and while she's busy right now as soon as I get this second No.1 they are well up for it."

He added: "If it's not her then maybe I'll track down Adele in her big mansion somewhere."

Dappy also admitted that he was saddened by the news of Whitney Houston's death earlier this month and would have included a tribute to her in 'Rockstar' had it happened sooner.

He explained: "Losing Whitney was so sad. If it had happened before I wrote the song I'd have stuck Whitney in as well. Coming out of a band into a solo project I need to be clever with the lyrics, make people think.

"I'm not moaning about being a star, or want people to think I have got a problem; it's just making people believe we need barrier-breaking music."

Dappy's 'Rockstar' is available to download now.
