Bruce Springsteen, Gotye lead midweek charts

Gotye is on course to retain his position at number one on the UK singles chart.

The singer's hit 'Somebody That I Used To Know' is currently leading the midweek chart, while Emeli Sandé's 'Next To Me' trails at number two.

Nicki Minaj moves up to number three with 'Starships', Flo Rida sits at four with 'Wild Ones' and Stooshe make their chart debut at five with 'Love Me'.

Marcus Collins lands at number six with his first single 'Seven Nation Army', Tinchy Stryder and Pixie Lott are at eight with 'Bright Lights', and David Guetta is at ten with 'Turn Me On'.

Olly Murs climbs eight places to 22 with 'Dance With Me Tonight', Jay-Z and Kanye West are at 28 with 'Paris', and Dot Rotten makes his Top 40 debut at number 32 with 'Are You Not Entertained?'

Over on the album chart, Bruce Springsteen is on course to reach number one with his 17th studio album Wrecking Ball.

The Military Wives are at two with their debut album In My Dreams, Emeli Sandé is at three with Our Version Of Events and Adele resides at four with 21.
