The Festival Republic boss revealed plans to offer a free beer and burger to all festival-goers with a three-day weekend pass to subsidise the failure to decrease ticket prices for 2012.
Benn told NME: "At the end of the day everyone wants a beer and a burger, don't they? So somehow I'm going to do that. Ultimately I'm going to try and get the sponsors to pay for it if I can. If they don't I'll be paying for it myself.
"It's tough for kids at the minute, students and people not working and money being tight. I just want to give something back."
The lineup for this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals will be announced at 7.15pm on Monday (March 12), with tickets on sale immediately afterwards.
Last year's event was headlined by Muse, My Chemical Romance, Pulp and The Strokes.
