The Beth Ditto-fronted band will release 'Perfect World' as the lead track from their forthcoming fifth studio album A Joyful Noise.
The song has been produced by Brian Higgins's songwriting team Xenomania, who have previously worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes and Kylie Minogue.
Gossip announced that their new album A Joyful Noise will be released in May, with other production credits from Mark Ronson.
Ditto has previously branded British music fans as "fickle" and defended claims that her band are a one-hit wonder.
