The unique gig will take place in a 400-year-old whiskey distillery on the Causeway Coast. They will perform among barrels and stills at the award-winning Bushmills distillery in North Antrim.
Songwriters Foy Vance and Iain Archer will also perform at the two-day event.
Snow Patrol's Jonny Quinn said of the event: "Playing live on a bill of great artists and friends, in the Old Bushmills Distillery that's been around for centuries - it doesn't get much better than that."
Tickets for the festival will not be on general sale, but can be won via a Facebook competition.
Entrants can upload of photo of themselves with a friend explaining why they should attend the festival. Winners will also get the chance to blend their own whiskey.
Bushmills master distiller Colum Egan said: "The lineup for Bushmills Live so far is truly remarkable. Snow Patrol, Foy Vance and Iain Archer are known and loved around the world - much like our whiskey.
"What excites me is they, like all the artists who are coming to play, are fans of our whiskey. Bushmills and music have always gone well together. Handcrafted whiskey and handcrafted music - it just makes sense."
The festival takes place on June 20-21. Entry for the competition begins on St. Patrick's Day, March 17.
Snow Patrol will headline this year's T in the Park in July alongside Kasabian.
