Rita Ora has insisted that her debut album will live up to the media buzz.

The singer, who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, said that her forthcoming record will match the hype created by the press.

Ora told Punchbowl Blog: "It's pressure, but it's really good pressure. I'm happy that people are interested in me and people care that I have an album coming out.

"I'm looking forward to living up to the hype and living up to people's expectations."

Asked if she will collaborate on the LP with Jay-Z, she said: "Jay is a legend, [but] even I have to earn the right to have Jay on a track, so maybe one day down the line."

Ora also said that it would be "so cool" to break America, adding: "It's what I think entertainers dream of doing - going to Hollywood and things like that. It means a lot to me and my country because where I'm from in Kosovo we don't really get opportunities to do these kinds of things."

The star recently featured on DJ Fresh's chart-topping single 'Hot Right Now'. Her new single 'R.I.P', which features Tinie Tempah, follows on May 6.
