David Lynch directs seven-minute 'Crazy Clown Time' video - watch

By
David Lynch has premiered his self-directed video for the song 'Crazy Clown Time'.

The track appears on the filmmaker's debut solo album of the same name, which features a guest appearance from Karen O on opener 'Pinky's Dream'.

"David Lynch's video for 'Crazy Clown Time' is the party we wish we were always at," said Vice's YouTube music channel Noisey, where the clip premiered.

"It's got babes with their boobs out, a dude with his mohawk on fire, and the place is so trashed you could do whatever you want and no-one would notice. It's genius."

Crazy Clown Time features the previously-released tracks 'Good Day Today' and 'I Know'.

Lynch has previously penned lyrics for tracks on the Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me soundtracks featuring music by Angelo Badalamenti. He also released the BlueBob album with John Neff in 2001.

More recently, Lynch appeared on the Dark Night Of The Soul project from Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse.
