The rapper insisted that her supposed feuds with fellow female emcees - most notably Lil Kim - don't bother her enough to reference them in her material.
"What's so interesting is that you guys always think I'm going at somebody and then you think I'm talking about someone in particular," Minaj told US radio station Power 105.1.
"A lot of the time I'm talking to people y'all have no idea who I'm talking to, which is interesting."
She added: "I'm good - and when I say that I mean I'm not writing about any girls in the game past or present. I wish them the best and I really mean that."
Seemingly referring to Lil Kim, Minaj explained: "We went at it, the best woman won and I'm ready to move on.
"People make it a bigger deal than I make it. I'm about to go on tour around the world and this my first time. I'm like a kid in a candy store - I'm so excited."
The star maintained that she receives a lot of love from her fans, so hate from other artists rarely affects her. She added: "I don't really worry much about that stuff like you guys worry about it."
