The band travelled to London's Brixton Academy as part of their current headline UK tour in support of their recent album Sinners Never Sleep.
"We're in Brixton, first day. As you can see the sun's out, it's a good day," the band explained as they prepared for a soundcheck.
Matt Barnes showed off the band's gold plaque, which they received for selling over 100,000 copies of second album Hold Me Down in the UK.
"And Sinners Never Sleep has gone silver already," he added.
Showing the socks his bandmates bought him for his birthday, drummer Dan Flint joked: "I appreciate the socks. I'd actually ran out so it's the perfect present."
You Me At Six will continue their Sinners Never Sleep tour at Dublin's Olympia Theatre tonight (April 7) and at Ulster Hall in Belfast tomorrow (April 8).
