Liberty X deny reunion reports: 'We met each other by coincidence'

By
Liberty X have denied reports that they will reunite later this year.

The group fuelled rumours that they would release a new album this year and embark on a 2013 tour after three members were spotted outside London's ITV studios.

Singer Michelle Heaton took to Twitter to refute the claims, stating: "I hear liberty X r trending... No idea why, we only bumped into each other by pure coincidence & Tony was NOT hiding in the building!"

Member Kelli Young has since joined the social networking site after the band trended worldwide following reports of the reunion.

Liberty X released three albums between 2001 and 2005 and notched up ten Top 20 singles including 'Thinking It Over', 'Got To Have Your Love', 'Being Nobody' and number one hit 'Just A Little'.

They split in 2006 but briefly reformed in 2008 for a one-off greatest hits gig in Belfast.
