Samantha Ronson has made her live television performance debut on Live! With Kelly.
The DJ-singer debuted her new single 'Summer of Sam' with her band The Undertakers on the morning show on Tuesday (May 1).
'Summer of Sam' is included on Ronson's debut album Chasing the Reds, under her own label Broken Toys Records.
The single features rapper Wale but he did not join Ronson on Live! With Kelly.
Talk show host Kelly Ripa predicted that 'Summer of Sam' would become "the anthem of every bar across every city in the country".
Last summer, Ronson was arrested in California for driving under the influence of alcohol after failing her sobriety test and refusing breathalyser analysis on the scene. She was then charged with two misdemeanour counts of DUI.
Ronson is the twin sister of fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and the brother of music producer Mark Ronson. Her relationship with Lindsay Lohan made many headlines in the press and tabloids.
