Example 'impersonating Foo Fighters on new album'

Example has revealed that his new album will be more rock-orientated.

The rapper claimed that the new material is his impression of Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam as it contains "huge guitar riffs".

"It's going to be a rock album but produced electronically - every track's got huge guitar riffs. I'm pretty much singing and trying to do impressions of Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters," Capital FM quotes the star as saying.

Example - real name Elliot Gleave - also admitted that he hopes the record is finished and ready for release by late October or early November.

The as-yet-untitled album will follow Example's third studio record Playing in the Shadows, which reached number one in the UK.

The musician recently claimed that festivals in the UK are failing because of poor organisation.
