Bat for Lashes has announced her first UK gig in over a year.

The singer-songwriter - real name Natasha Khan - will play her first gig in the country for 18 months at Cambridge Junction on June 13.

The gig will be a warm-up performance ahead of her appearances at several summer festivals including Latitude and Bestival.

She will also embark on a European tour of festivals including gigs in Germany, Holland, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Spain and Ireland.

Bat for Lashes is currently working on the follow-up to her second LP Two Suns, released in 2009.

She has yet to announce full details of her upcoming release.

Khan released a one-off single for Record Store Day 2012 on April 21, a cover of Depeche Mode's 'Strangelove' which originally appeared on a Gucci commercial.
