Rita Ora, Keane storm midweek charts

Rita Ora and Keane are on course to top the singles and albums charts this weekend.

21-year-old Ora has stormed into the lead on the singles tally, with her debut solo effort 'R.I.P' becoming the fastest-selling single of 2012 so far.

Meanwhile, Tulisa slips from one to two with 'Young', and Alex Clare's 'Too Close' climbs from five to complete the top three.

Elsewhere in the chart, Far*East Movement and Justin Bieber's 'Live My Life' debuts at number seven, and Emeli Sandé's 'My Kind Of Love' enters at 24.

Following last week's The Voice UK, The Temper Trap vault from 94 to 15 with 'Sweet Disposition', Kate Bush lands at 33 with 'Running Up That Hill', and Coldplay's 'Paradise' rebounds at 39.

On the albums chart, Keane look set for their fifth number one album with Strangeland, which is currently outselling the top five.

Richard Hawley is at two with Standing at the Sky's Edge, Emeli Sandé jumps from eight to three and Cover Drive debut at seven with Bajan Style.

Further down the tally, B.o.B's Strange Clouds is at 24, King Charles enters at 26 with LoveBlood, and Damon Albarn's Dr Dee starts at 39.
