The boy band's eighth long player is a collection of 11 covers of their favourite classic love songs. It was recorded over the summer, in breaks from their Face To Face 06 Tour, with producer Steve Mac.
The first track to be taken from the album will be 'The Rose' - a hit for Bette Midler in 1980 - which is due for release on November 6.
A spokesman for the band said: "Westlife perform this collection of epic love songs with heartfelt emotion and the album showcases more than ever the bands unique vocal prowess that has been key to their unrivalled continuing success.
"Packed with soaring choruses and epic string arrangements The Love Album has all the classic ingredients of the kind of quality pop album that Westlife have become synonymous with."
