The singer will perform a one-off show at London's HMV store on Oxford Street to kick off Music is GREAT week, which celebrates the success of British artists playing live across the globe.
The star said: "I am super proud to be British and I have always loved repping the UK with my music. It's wonderful to celebrate music and I can't wait to kick off Music Is GREAT week.
"I think it's very important to be proud of where you're from, and I don't think anywhere is like the UK. I think music is a perfect way to celebrate and we make it very well."
The show will be hosted by Melanie C, who has also praised the campaign, adding: "Both as a Spice Girl and as a solo artist I have been lucky enough to perform in so many fantastic countries across the globe.
"Performing live is the ultimate for me, it's what drives me as an artist. I don't think you can fully appreciate a performer until you have seen them live."
The Music is GREAT DVD is also released on Monday, May 14, containing 15 of the best live performances from British artists ever.
