The band have recorded a cover of the Raspberries' 1972 track 'Go All The Way' for Tim Burton's new film Dark Shadows.
The song comes ahead of the group's fourth studio album, which they are currently working on in the studio.
The Killers have previously hinted that the new collection of music may be out in time for their headline set at this summer's V Festival in the UK.
Bassist Mark Stoemer told NME: "It might be out [in time for V] but there's no guarantees.
"We technically started last May, but we've been doing it in pieces, and it's kind of taken a while to feel it out and figure out what it means to be a band again, because we took so much time off."
He added: "Stylistically, it's pushing in more of a rock direction than the last album. But we're also doing something we haven't done before. It'll definitely sound like us."
Dark Shadows stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter and is out in cinemas now.
The original soundtrack is available to buy now.
