Albert Hammond to release second solo LP

Albert Hammond Jnr is looking to release a second solo album in the near future.
Speaking to the NME, the Strokes guitarist admitted he has not finished with his solo career yet. "I'm definitely planning on writing and making another. But if no one wants to hear my songs, I can't really make a record."
The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has reportedly rejected much of Hammond Jnr's work for use on the band's album. The Strokes themselves are planning to enter the studio next year to record their next LP.
Hammond confirmed: "Probably spring next year we'll go into the studio, but there's no set date."
