The boyband maintained that they do not have any issue with their chart rivals and suggested that the media wants them to be enemies.
"I think it's very expected from the media always trying to put two bands together and trying to start a rivalry," Nathan Sykes told Hollyscoop. "We have no issue with them whatsoever."
Speaking about working with One Direction, he added: "I think the collaboration between the two bands could generate a lot of cash maybe and we would actually be willing to do it for charity."
One Direction's debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful' recently passed the 2 million sales mark in the US.
