Pete Doherty has announced plans to use lyrics written by Amy Winehouse for his new album.

The Babyshambles star's new solo record will include a duet with singer Suzi Martin named 'Bird Cage' with words penned by the late Back to Black singer.

Doherty has confirmed six other song titles for the 12-track LP: 'Down For The Outing', 'Siberian Fur', 'Nothing Comes To Nothing', 'Shine A Light On Your Misery', 'Ba Ba Ba' and 'Dust On The Road'.

"We've been cracking on," he told NME. "I've got a hard drive full of new songs and a few of them have taken more of a definite shape.

"Things that were ad libs and off the cuff, we're putting more into traditional song structure."

The 33-year-old, who was close friends with Winehouse, suffered with depression following her sudden death last year.

The new album is a follow-up to the Libertines musician's debut effort, 2009's Grace/Wastelands.
