Pop band Scissor Sisters have announced that they will be touring with a replacement drummer due to Paddy Boom's persistent back problems.
Boom, the band's permenant drummer, has been forced to rest for at least three of the Sister's gigs in the States, but the band are confident that the new drummer is up to scratch.
In a posting on their website, Scissor Sisters wrote: "We spent our days in Chicago rehearsing with a temporary replacement for Paddy. He's amazing and we're confident that he will do the show justice until Paddy is ready to return."
The band added that Boom is recovering and is going to be "back on stage with us as soon as the docs give him the A-OK".
Scissor Sisters are set to play a charity Halloween gig in London on October 31.
