The Saturdays: 'We'd love to see Girls Aloud again'

By
Frankie Sandford has said that The Saturdays are excited by the thought of a Girls Aloud comeback.

Sandford's group recorded their first album while supporting Girls Aloud on their 'Tangled Up' jaunt in 2008.

"We're so excited 'cos obviously they started us off and we went on their tour," Sandford told Metro regarding talk of a Girls Aloud return.

"When we were watching their shows we thought it was amazing, so it would be great if they got back together and did a tour or something."

She added: "We'd love to go. It just would be nice to see them all back together."

Asked if they would ever consider joining forces for a girl supergroup, Sandford said: "Imagine - there'd be loads of us."

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle recently said the group would embark on a reunion tour and record new material to mark their tenth anniversary.

Production team Xenomania confirmed earlier this month that work had started on brand new Girls Aloud songs.
