Jedward 'won't do Eurovision again'

By
Jedward have ruled themselves out of representing Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest for a third time.

The duo - consisting of John and Edward Grimes - came 19th at this year's show in Azerbaijan after their performance of 'Waterline' won them 46 points.

"I think Ireland is going to win next year with somebody else," Edward is quoted by The Mirror as saying. "I think Bono should go. Or Robbie Williams."

John added: "I think we'll leave it to somebody else to do it next year. We'll leave it to a new artist out there who is undiscovered. Ireland do have a chance of winning - we've won seven times before."

However, the siblings did concede that they may consider entering again if asked by their country's president.

"We never know what will happen," Edward said. "If the President rings us up and says, 'John and Edward, we need you. Seriously we need you guys'. Then we'll think about it."

Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with 'Euphoria', which was performed by Loreen and has since gone on to top iTunes charts across Europe.
