Albarn band plays intimate gig

Damon Albarn's new band made a surprise debut in Devon last night.
The former Blur frontman, who has teamed up with ex-Verve guitarist Simon Tong, former Clash bass player Paul Simonon, and drummer Tony Allen, will play at the Proms next week.
They surprised a crowd of 150 punters in a pub in the county last night to premiere their material.
Albarn admitted the band's name has been a tricky decision: "Everybody seems to think we're called The Good, The Bad and The Queen," he told the BBC. "We're not. That's the title of our album. The band doesn't have a name."
