The annual rock magazine's awards ceremony took place in London last night (June 7), with While She Sleeps, The Blackout, Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari also among the winners.
You Me At Six's Chris Miller told BBC Newsbeat: "It's crazy. We've all grown up with Kerrang since before we could play guitars. We always got our musical knowledge from it - so this is awesome."
Black Sabbath were handed the 'Inspiration Award' for their services to rock music, with Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi appearing to accept the award.
Slash, who won the 'Icon' award, said: "Kerrang! was one of the first magazines that put us on the cover back in the day - it's a good magazine."
The Blackout took home the 'Devotion' award, while Bring Me The Horizon won 'Best Video' for 'Alligator Blood' and Enter Shikari won 'Best Live Band'.
My Chemical Romance were crowned 'Best International Band', with Tenacious D being awarded for 'Kerrang!'s Services to Rock'.
Justin Bieber, meanwhile, was given the 'Villain of the Year' prize, beating the likes of Simon Cowell and One Direction.
