Chris Brown has performed for fans in New York City as part of Today's 'Summer Concert Series'.
The hip-hop star treated fans at Rockefeller Centre to a live set featuring 'Forever', 'Turn Up The Music', 'Yeah x3' and 'Don't Wake Me Up' on Friday (June 8) morning.
Brown warmed up the crowd prior to performing his hits by shouting: "Team Breezy. How y'all feeling out there today? I know ya'll came out real early so let's party, OK?! Turn up the music!"
Comedian Chris Rock previously joked about Brown's appearance on Today when host Matt Lauer told viewers: "We're hoping the same kind of weather hits us tomorrow when we've got Chris Brown out on the plaza."
Rock then alluded to Brown's arrest for domestic violence against Rihanna as he quipped: "Did you say you hope the same weather hits you? I hope some weather doesn't smack us upside the head."
Brown guest starred on Today in promotion of his upcoming album Fortune.
Today's Summer Concert series continues on June 15 with an appearance by Justin Bieber, and Kenny Chesney will perform on June 22.
