The rapper posted the news yesterday (June 9) via his Twitter account, revealing the title of the album to be Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumours.
According to the Atlanta-based hip-hop artist, the new album is scheduled to hit stores on November 13.
His last album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, was delayed for over two years before finally coming out in 2010.
Big Boi's former Outkast partner Andre 3000 - real name Andre Benjamin - recently revealed that the two have no plans at the moment to record another record.
Benjamin is currently filming a biopic about the life of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
