The band release new studio album Centipede Hz on September 4 and take the record on the road with a gig at the Roundhouse in Camden on November 4.
Doors are at 7pm with an 11pm curfew. Tickets for the show are priced at £20 and go on sale this Wednesday, June 13 at 9am.
"Animal Collective return with a new album named Centipede Hz this September on Domino Records, and as past ATP curators we're very happy to have them back playing a show at the London Roundhouse on the 4th November," promoters All Tomorrow's Parties confirmed.
Centipede Hz will not feature either track from the group's recent double A-side single 'Honeycomb/Gotham'.
Animal Collective's frontman Panda Bear suggested back in 2010 that the band were close to splitting up.
That year, the band released the visual album ODDSAC, released only in cinemas and on DVD with no separate audio soundtrack.
